Liquitex Demo Artist

Artist Megan Jentsch is excited to announce that as of January 2025, she has been named as the official demonstration artist for the infamous Colart and their line of Liquitex acrylic paint and mediums for the Vancouver area. Colart is well-known and celebrated for their high-quality products, particularly paint, and tools used by some of the world's greatest artists for over 300 years.

She was joined by three other North American representatives from Calgary, Toronto and Boston to review and explore some of the Liquitex acrylic paint products available to artists across the world.

As a newly appointed demonstration artist, Megan will be presenting the new products via in-person and virtual demonstrations in collaboration with Opus Fine Art in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Information regarding the upcoming events will be announced on Jentsch’s instagram, which you can find here https://www.instagram.com/mecjayy/ as well as on the Opus Fine art website here https://opusartsupplies.com/

Megan is proud to be a part of the Colart family, and is looking forward to connecting with other artists, as well as incorporating Liquitex acrylic paint into several upcoming bespoke painting projects.

Tote Bag Night

Vancouver-based artist Megan Jentsch brought her creativity and skills to Lakeside Cellars, a winery nestled in the Okanagan valley, of British Columbia, Canada, for her first ever Tote Edition of the winery's holiday Sip & Paint session.

Attendees each tasted a variety of Lakesides wine while they hand-painted their own tote bags, under the guidance of Jentsch, who not only led the session, but came up with the unique idea of clients painting tote bags as well as the images, paint, and lessons in the session

When asked what she enjoyed most about the session, Megan said "art has the power to bring people together. It was a pleasure to help guide each individual to create their own unique piece."

Megan looks forward to continue to share her knowledge as an artist to others in a playful and informative way through similar events in the future.
